From the moment I arrived, there was such a beautiful energy around them. Calm excitement, happy nerves, family moving around, laughter in the background — the kind of morning that reminds me why I love photographing weddings so much. Everyone was simply so happy to be there for these two.
Nurhal was absolutely radiant, elegant in the most effortless way, and Grant had that look all day of someone who knew just how lucky he was. The way they looked at each other said everything before a single word was spoken.
One of my favourite things about their wedding was how they included little touches inspired by their cats throughout the day. Not in an over-the-top way, but in those subtle personal details that made the celebration feel so uniquely them. I always love when couples bring pieces of their everyday life and shared story into their wedding — it makes the day feel more honest, more personal, and full of character.
Diamant Estate always has a way of feeling grand and intimate at the same time. Surrounded by vineyards, mountain views, and beautiful architecture, it gave the perfect setting for a spring wedding in October. The soft light, open space, and timeless feel of the estate made every moment even more special.
What I loved most about their day was how present they both were. They weren’t rushing through moments or performing for the camera — they were truly soaking it all in. Laughing with friends, holding hands whenever they could, stealing little glances across the room. Those are the moments that matter most, and the ones I love capturing.
When we stepped away for couple portraits later in the day, everything slowed down for a moment. The light was soft, the mountains sat quietly behind us, and it felt like they finally had a second to just be together. Some of my favourite images always happen in those quiet in-between moments.
Nurhal & Grant, thank you for trusting me with your memories. Your wedding was beautiful, yes — but more than that, it was heartfelt, joyful, and deeply personal. The kind of day people remember because of how loved it felt.
