Liezl & Daniel’s wedding at Karoo 1 Hotel was one of those days that felt both beautifully grounding and slightly surreal — in the best possible way.
It was my final wedding of 2025, after photographing three weddings in three days, with a 4am flight to Namibia waiting for me the very next morning. So to say I arrived at this day a little tired would be an understatement… but the moment I stepped into the Karoo again, everything shifted.
There’s something about that landscape — the stillness, the open space, the light — that instantly resets you.
And this wedding? It was fun, a little wild in the most joyful way, emotional in all the right places, and honestly so inspiring. The kind of day where you find yourself smiling behind the camera without even realising it.
From heartfelt moments to golden Karoo light stretching across the open land, everything felt effortless and alive. A perfect way to close off the year.
